My first book in a series of four that will follow the seasons in Shetland islands: Join 12-year-old twins Tabitha and Timothy from London on an adventurous journey to the remote island of Papala, known as the "Bird Island." With parents sailing the world, their great Uncle Tamhas becomes their guardian in a world as strange as the island itself. Tabitha, dreaming of becoming an influencer, faces challenges due to the island’s isolation and limited Wi-Fi. Meanwhile, Timothy explores the island’s wildlife and ecology. Facing challenges and unexpected twists, Uncle Tamhas guides the twins through farming a croft in Winter, nurturing deeper family connections. However, the twins soon realise they are not the only newcomers on the island.
