Facing threats to life, Morpheus and his wife, along with 17 family members, confront trials tied to their heritage, Piccadaci said.
Morpheus’ Fight for Humanity: Facing a Dire Prophecy and the Weight of Dual Identity
The Greip King’s ominous prophecy from the first story looms large: that humans will eventually destroy themselves. Morpheus, reborn on Earth but originally from the alien planet Achilles, fights valiantly to protect humanity and all life in the universe. Despite his efforts, he gradually realizes the devastating truth: the Greip King was right. Consequently, reconciling his dual identity as both human and Achillesian takes a heavy toll on Morpheus and his loved ones.
Morpheus must accept the limits of his power and humanity’s inevitable fate as he faces harsh realities.
