Finally, Palestinian journalist Bisan Owda shared an Emmy award with Aljazeera in the Outstanding Hard News Feature Story category for their documentary, ‘It’s Bisan From Gaza — and I’m Still Alive’.
On September 26, 2024, Aljazeera shared,
“This award is a testament to Palestinian journalists and their professionalism. Bisan’s reporting has humanized the Palestinian story after decades of mainstream media’s systematic dehumanization of Palestinians.”
