Celiac Disease

An Author Who Wants to Make a Difference
We should look at kids who have celiac disease. If your child experiences diarrhea, bloating, poor growth, weight loss, decreased appetite and stomachaches, sleep problems there is a good chance your child has celiac disease. Do not leave this untreated, the intestine will not heal and there will be more complications. Celiac untreated can cause mental and behavioral disorders as ADHD, anxiety, depression, fatigue. When your child does go to the doctor to get checked then you will know and can move forward either way. Unfortunately, this disease is a lifelong condition.

I believe in empowering home bakers, in helping them understand that with the right knowledge, gluten-free baking is not just possible; it is delightful. It is one where every cup of flour and every dash of sugar is more than just a part of a recipe - they are pieces of a puzzle that, when put together, can bring joy and relief to those who often have to say 'no' to desserts.
